VirtualCAP.org is an online resource for Community Action Agencies (CAAs) across the United States. The Virginia Community Action Partnership created the project in 2002 and administered it until 2014. In 2015, the VirtualCAP project was adopted by OACAA where the site was redesigned to add new features and enhanced search capabilities. The project transitioned to the Connecticut Agency for Community Action in January 2018.
VirtucalCAP’s online database contains program models, best practices information, funding opportunities, Standards information, and much, much more. It serves not only as a resource of information but as a place to generate ideas and innovative thinking. VirtualCAP shares information from and to approximately 1,000 local CAAs across the United States. The Resource Library holds hundreds of free tools ranging from sample board of directors documents to successfully operated program models, which can be adapted for your agency.
