For the recording link, please email Lorie at lorie@oacaa.org ( mailto:lorie@oacaa.org ).\nTrainer:\nSarah Starr\nSarah Starr is the Executive Director of Supports to Encourage Low-income Families (SELF), the state-designated Community Action Agency for Butler County, Ohio.\nSarah joined SELF in November of 2021 as the point person for internal operations and external events, including SELF’s Adopt-a-Family program and Annual Awards Celebration. She became Executive Director in August of 2025 and is passionate about being an advocate for SELF, our staff, and the individuals we serve in the community.\nBefore joining the team at SELF, Sarah spent ten years working at a non-profit serving vulnerable populations. She also worked in human resources at a university. Additionally, she has volunteered for over six years as an event coordinator for a prom celebrating individuals with special needs.\nMs. Starr has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in management. She completed the 2023 Community Action Leadership Training Series through the Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies and graduated from the 2024 CLIMB leadership program with The Chamber of Commerce serving Middletown, Monroe, and Trenton.\n
