Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Where Are We Now?

Description

In this training session, Dr. Jaietta Jackson will provide a small group interactive training discussing current diversity, equity, and inclusion standards, laws, and regulations. This will be an interactive training session and will end with Q&A.

This training is free to OACAA members in good standing. Non-member registrations will be canceled.

Speaker Bio

Ms. Jaietta Jackson is an educator and communication consultant who began her teaching career in the Youngstown City schools. In 2004 she advanced her career as a Communication Professor at Youngstown State University. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and the director of the Public Speaking Basic Course. Jaietta has been invited to speak at many conferences and seminars to discuss her current communication research on diversity within the university setting. Her focus examines the collegiate success of Black males. She is the owner and diversity, equity, and inclusion trainer of her company one2one Communication Consulting. She has provided seminars and diversity training for small businesses and organizations including AmeriCorps Vista, MYCAP, and Suzie’s Restaurant on topics of diversity, culturally inclusive climates and equity.
