Winter Legislative Conference: A Virtual Event
When: January 25-28, 2022
The 2022 Winter Legislative Conference will be a fully virtual event. In early January, the Association made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person portion of the conference. We are sorry for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you in person again soon!
Now virtual, the conference has been expanded to four days, beginning Tuesday, January 25th and ending Friday, January 28, 2022. Tuesday and Wednesday will consist of plenary sessions, keynote speakers, and awards. Thursday and Friday will consist of virtual workshops. Please refer to the conference website to register and to view the tentative agenda.
After registration, check your email to gain access to the virtual conference platform! All registrants must register under their own email address to gain access to the virtual platform. Questions about the registration form? Contact Jeannette Jarrett for assistance.
Conference Access:
After registration, look for an email from mail@eventsquidmail.com. Please add this address to your safe list to ensure you receive all notifications and updates. The email will provide the Conference Access Code to enter into the desktop portal or web app. Watch the 10-minute platform walk-through to learn more about the virtual platform.
Who should attend?
Community Action professionals, partners, sponsors, OCA leadership, and more from across Ohio will join us at the 2022 Winter Legislative Conference! This conference is appropriate for all staff levels within your agency including planners, board members, entry-, mid-, and senior management and staff, case managers, program staff, early childhood staff, and more.
COVID-19 Protocols
In-person registrants and sponsors agree to abide by all COVID-19 protocols in place during the conference. All registrants must review the OACAA/OCATO Annual Convention COVID-19 Waiver and Release of Liability.
Cancellations
Cancellations received in writing by January 1, 2022 will receive a refund minus a $35 processing fee. Cancellations received after January 1, 2022 will not be refunded.

By attending this event, you as a conference attendee consent to: (1) being photographed and recorded&; (2) OACAA’s use, reproduction, and dissemination of your likeness in OACAA online and offline publications &; and (3) OACAA’s use of audio recordings of conference functions for its own internal purposes. By registering for this conference, I hereby consent to the use of my likeness and the recording of my voice as outlined above and release OACAA from any liability or claims I now have or may have in the future relating to such use of photographs or recordings.
