Join us as we explore the journey of Lifeline’s Lake County Imagination Library Program and its mission to bolster childhood literacy. This session will explore the history of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, including how Lifeline established the program in Lake County and its growth over the past five years, as well as the program’s impact on childhood literacy. We’ll also touch on some of the fundraising efforts that have been pivotal in driving our program forward. From community events to partnerships with local businesses, discover the creative and collaborative approaches Lifeline has taken to sustain and nurture the program. By providing children with access to books at home, we are planting the seeds for a brighter future. Let’s turn the page on a new chapter of literacy and learning!

Trainer
Rebekah Jones is a passionate advocate for social change as the Planner for Lifeline, Inc., which serves as the Community Action Agency for Lake & Geauga Counties. With over four years of experience at Lifeline, Rebekah is known for her creative thinking, personal dedication to excellence, and attention to detail. As the Planner, she is an integral part of the development and implementation of the agency’s strategic plans, handles the agency’s marketing and communications, and collaborates on the agency’s fundraising. Rebekah has a strong set of essential competencies that enable her to promote Lifeline’s mission of empowering community members to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for all residents.
In her spare time, Rebekah is a dedicated volunteer in her community, enjoys music and visual arts, is a fan of most Sci-Fi, and spends time with her family and friends, including her Bull Mastiff named Kono.
