Stress Management: Dealing with Pandemic Issues During the Holiday Season
October is traditionally the beginning of the holiday season for many people. With harvest celebrations, pumpkins, ghosties, apple picking, and getting our warmer clothes. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, holidays, special events, and celebrations have changed dramatically. How will our family, and work celebrations be different this year? Cherished family traditions and community events may have been canceled due to the virus, and current gathering restrictions. Many families are facing increased financial burdens from furloughed employment to lost wages from employer shut-down.
This session will take the time to explore these stressful times and share ideas and creative strategies to make this time more enjoyable. This workshop will have multiple small group activities – so please have your camera on your device (phones are fine too). Get ready for some fun and interactive opportunities and the chance to share with your peers.
