Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies congratulates our member Stark County Community Action Agency on the recent recognition for outstanding civic volunteerism and community service with an Award of Appreciation by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce earlier this month.
Nominated by the Chamber, SCCAA was among six to receive the recognition this year. The agency promotes self-sufficiency and provides opportunities for approximately 20,000 individuals each year through services including early childhood education, energy and weatherization, workforce development, career training, and youth employment, transportation, nutrition, emergency housing, and the Community Action Pathways Hub.
“On behalf of the over 52,000 low-income residents of Stark County, the Board and staff were honored to receive recognition for the work that the Agency does in the community,” said Rodney Reasonover, chief executive officer at SCCAA. “[We are] committed to upholding the Promise of Community Action, by changing peoples lives and making Stark County, Ohio a better place to live.”
We, at the Association, are proud to share this recognition of Stark County Community Action Agency. The agency continues to be a leader in the network and in the efforts of helping people and changing lives. >>> READ MORE
