Name. Jacqueline Fox
Title: Chief Executive Officer
Agency: West Ohio Community Action Partnership
Time with Community Action: 32 years

Jacqueline Fox, CEO of West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP), began her career helping others and changing lives as a Head Start teacher in Trenton, New Jersey in 1985. As a teen parent and former Head Start services recipient, Jacqueline brings with her a personal connection to the program and to Community Action which drives her to fiercely advocate for the people and families served.

In 1995, Jacqueline provided support as a Parent Involvement Coordinator at WOCAP (formerly Lima-Allen Council on Community Affairs). She was later promoted to Associate Director of Head Start and later to Head Start Director. After many years of successful leadership in that role, Jacqueline began her tenure as Chief Executive Officer in August 2006.

“It is clear she possesses the passion for the organization’s mission as she persistently searches for opportunities and finds innovative ways to improve and reach the goals of the community, as well as our agency,” said Lauren Link, Planning and Development Director at WOCAP. “Her success has been proven through her record of productivity, and she continues to go beyond her duties by always viewing the big picture and collaborating with community partners to better serve individuals in the service area.”

Jacqueline remains vocal on issues that affect the most vulnerable populations served and has led the agency to develop new programming such as youth leadership, nurturing parents, and organizing homeless services in coordination with community partners. She is happy spending her days keeping the counties WOCAP serves an amazing place to live—one program, partnership, client, and employee at a time.

Jacqueline received her Associate degree in Early Childhood Development from Ohio State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Bluffton University.
