The 2021 State of Poverty Report is here! This annually-updated report provides the Community Action network, local partners, and elected officials with a data-driven, comprehensive assessment of what households are struggling with across Ohio.
This year’s report highlights the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, housing, employment, broadband access, and the expansion of Ohio’s Medicaid program. New this year is Ohio’s Well-Being Dashboard—a county-level measure that examines socioeconomic and poverty indicators to identify early challenges at the local level.
With the release of the 2021 State of Poverty Report, we have developed a companion toolkit. This toolkit is designed to help our members share their local Community Action story and show how that story fits in the statewide narrative. Together, the stories from the entire Community Action network highlight the work being done to empower those working through the challenges of poverty.
Included within this toolkit are ready-to-use infographics, sample social media posts, customizable press release templates, design elements, and more. Download the toolkit today! You can also download the infographics and more here.
