State of Poverty Report Toolkit, 2022

Today, we celebrate the release of the 2022 State of Poverty in Ohio Report! For nearly 30 years, this report has depended on reliable data sources and unbiased researchers to show the Community Action Network, elected officials, and local partners some of Ohioans’ greatest barriers to self-sufficiency.

This year’s report features four areas of focus: employment issues, childcare, student loan debt, and housing concerns. These four interconnected issues provide an in-depth look into poverty in a world continuing to navigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, the 2022 State of Poverty in Ohio Report has an updated look to highlight the real-world scenarios of Ohioans impacted by the four poverty factors. Be sure to check out the “Meet [Ohioan]” pages to read their stories!

Released alongside the report is a toolkit to assist our members and partners in sharing state-wide and localized poverty trends. We thank and recognize the hard work of our members who continue to fight poverty in their communities. Download the toolkit today! You can also download the infographics and more here
